BrainTwister® is a registered trademark of the European Union for developing and distributing hard- and software products for scientific purposes. Furthermore for consultancy of any kind scientific and technological services.
The Founder
BrainTwister® was created by Bernd Doser in 2015. He has studied Chemistry at the University of Tübingen and completed his PhD in Theoretical Chemistry in the field of linear scaling algorithms for ab-initio quantum chemistry. After a research stay at the University of Munich (LMU), he worked as Scientific Software Engineer at Avant-Garde Materials Simulation GmbH in Freiburg developing software for crystal structure prediction and automatic force field generation. In his current position as Senior Software Developer at the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies gGmbH he is responsible for modern software engineering methods and high-performance programming techniques.
